is a simple application, in C#, that allows laptop users to perform actions based on battery notification events (switching from battery to AC and vice versa).OOTB, users can configure processes, services and devices to enable and disable based on battery events.
Currently there is no user interface for configuration; a GUI to configure the actions is in the pipeline. The application will run in user-mode and provides a system tray icon. Modifying the configuration requires hand-editing an XML file and re-running the executable (this will cause the configuration to be re-read). I know this limits the accessibility for more novice users, but the UI is something that requires some forethought and I wanted to get this utility out into the wild sooner rather than later.
You can save power using this application by:
- Start and stop processes;
- Start and stop services; and
- Enable and disable devices
The only Problem with this software is that there no GIU ( graphical user interface ) . Its very much needed. However it does the job as advertised.
