I was stunned last week when a friend of mine was creating a leaflet from Microsoft word 2007.
A lot of prints had to be made to adjust the paper to leaflet style thus "a lot of trees has been cut down " or in other words a lot of papers has been wasted.
Microsoft office publisher can get the job done easily and much quickly and can save a lot of paper.
Publisher is a DESKTOP PUBLISHING software. "desktop publishing" is commonly used to describe page layout skills. and so MS publisher has page layouts for various layouts such as brochures ( same as leaflets ), Business cards, calendars , flyers etc...
I wonder why many people don't use this DTP software which saves us time and efforts and paper. Many of us have Microsoft applications installed but dont even know about the existence of such a program. That's what happened to my friend. HE was so surprised when he found out how easy it was to create leaflets with this app.
Not much learning is required, you can just open it and play with it a little and then you would have known how to use this software. Its really simple.
