Windows 7 Beta testing versions have already been released and so far windows 7 I would say is better than any other windows version. I havent installed windows 7 but I played around with it from a friends laptop that has beta windows 7 installed. A new habdy feature that I came accross is that you dont need to install ISO burining softwares in 7. It has a built in ISO burning feature.
To burn ISOs in 7:
Right click ISO file > then click "Burn disk image" to start burning with Windows Disc Image Burner
This is the first windows version in which you can do this directly No need to install 3rd party tools like alchohol120%. To get more news about windows 7 go to "Windows 7 News"

Increasing-double click speed of mouse increases windows speed
Microsoft developer Raymond Chen has confirmed in this post of him that increasing mosue double-click speed actually increases mouse speed.
Settings that are tweaked when you increase mouse settings:
- The default tooltip timeouts are based on the double-click time. (Initial: 0.5s, autopop: 5s, reshow: 0.1s.)
- Incremental searching in list boxes resets after 4 times the double click time (2s).
- When you click and hold over a scroll bar arrow, autorepeat begins after 4/5 of the double-click time has elapsed (.4s), and autorepeat occurs at one tenth of the double-click time (0.05s = 20 repeats per second).
- The menu speed used to be 4/5 of the double click speed (0.4s), but now it has its own setting (SPI_SETMENUSHOWDELAY).
How to speedup mouse double-click speed:
XP: Go to control panel then click mouse. And edit the "double click speed" settings. (in classic view)

Youtube loads slow with all the annoying ads and comments and other stuffs on the video pages. To disable all these "craps" there is a web service called quietube (Video without the distractions). This way the videos also loads a lot faster.

Create your own font online
Have you ever wanted to create your own font? then this online font creating site can be useful.
This site allows you to construct fonts by using geometrical identities arranged in a grid base.
To create your own font style:
1. Register at the site.
2. Login with your new account
3. click "Create New Fontstruction"
4. Create you font.
5. When finished you can download your font in .zip format.
You can use the fonts in wondows and Mac OSX because the downloaded font will be in Truetype font type
Note: The process is extremely simple. But It may take some time since you are to design letter by letter!

Extracting and editing texts in an image
Some images have letters, sentences etc... and if that has a lot of written stuffs and you want to re-write them (again) then its a pain in the butt if its too lengthy. And so I came across this website offering free OCR (optical character recognition)Free-OCR.com is a free online OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tool. You can use this to perform OCR on any image you supply.
This service is free, no registration necessary. We also do not need your email address.
Just upload your image files. Free-OCR takes either PDF, JPG, GIF, TIFF or BMP format.
The only restriction is that the images must not be larger than 2MB, no wider or higher than 5000 pixels and there is a limit of 10 image uploads per hour.
I tested an image with the word NO written on it! the converter converted the text to Nobn Which is not quiet the results expected. So I uploaded image with the word Yes and its output was OK! so Some characters, this tool cant detect.

Minesweeper Movie - based on Minesweeper windows game

In the real one, you cant cheat eh? And if you dug a mine, you are dead!But in the game, you can try as many times as you want.
I guess this will be a nice movie. Its based on the windows minesweeper game as said in the heading.
