A Test Post: In Windows Live Writer

Its been a long time since I have been using the default blogspot post editor to write posts. Take the look at the image below to see this "Deafault post editor" that I've been using.

I have been blogging on blogspot since July 2007 and never used another posts writer or editor and taught of changing. How ever this is only a test blog post to see if I can change to the live writer.

Things I like about live Writer:

• An option to view Editing layout, Web layout and even the most useful HTML code.
• A clean and nice interface
• Less memory Hog
• An option to add watermarks to pictures. If any watermark logo is found in any pictures in this post , Probably done with this piece of software.
• No complicated settings to setup in order to create posts
• Options to insert tables, videos (which will be uploaded to youtube) and images
• Ability to add/remove weblog accounts
• Everything that a word processor (MSWORD) can offer
• Its 100% Free
• And many more...

I used such a software a little time before. I Remember that its called blogjet or something which and is not Free at all.

The new favicon of Google

This the new favicon of google this year.

I am sure you all know what a favicon is. If not Google it. And I am talking about google. They have changed their favicon to a new one. (again).


They changed it last year to a letter "G" and many dudes commented it as "Horrible , ugly ... etc".This year its changed to a colourful one that surpasses the previous year and their first favicon. see for your self.

How to download videos from streaming websites(eg:youtube) The easiest method.

You guys would have probably heard of this service.

We hate ( well I do hate ) to watch streaming videos so I usually download and watch.Because streaming online is too slow and the video stucks while watching.

With clip nabber ,you dont need to install any software or extension.

How to update mxone antivirus manually

I have written a post about mxone here. But for some reason I aint able to connect and download mxone updates. And Here is to update manually. I usually update every week once. No big deal right.

Simply Go to This address. Thats it. Its the official mxone offline updates download link.

After downloading do the following to install the downloaded updates.
1. Extract the zipped updates. [I bet You know If not google it]
2. Open the main interface by riGHT click or lEft clicking.



3.Click the update button



4.Click the update offline button and select where you extracted the mou file.

Getting information about extensions online

Maybe Someone sends you a file with a strange extension like .MOD and you can't open it.Its probably that you dont have the necessary piece of tool that opens the particular file. So the following 2 websites may help you guys.

Fixing corrupted avi with DivFix++

Its currently available for Windows , mac and linux.

Sometimes avi files cannot be played because of a corrupted index file , bad frames output. Such problems like Freezing while playing , distorted images etc.. are Possible aftermaths of a corrupted AVI (audio Video Interleave) format.

So what we usually do is Delete the File and re download the file. However redownloading the avi dosnt fix the problem since the file is uploaded already corrupted. I download Naruto Shippuden for my Younger brother and this happend to me twice. I did as I mentioned above. But I didnt delete any corrupted files. Instead I moved to my "corrupted" folder. In my 500GB HDD filled with movies and animes. The error message says something about indexing balah. SO I searched the net and found this great software which is portable and FrEE. DIVFIX++

A few settings are necessary before videos can be fixed. The first is to set a path for the fixed video files. A few additional settings are optional. Bad parts are cut out by default which could result in skips during playback. Probably still the better solution than a video that is stopping and not continuing afterwards. Errors can be written to a log file for further analysis but they will also be displayed in the log window.

A click on Fix will try to fix the video files in the list. Other possibilities are to strip or rebuild the index of selected video files.

Happy New year 2009

Years come and goes behind. Each year greets us with happiness and hope. WEll the year 2009 is gonna be a hectic year for me. I will insha allah do GCE cambridge o level in 2009. Wish me luck. I am doing 8 subjects but I will insha allah try to update my blog with better and cool tricks and tips for you the next year although the posts may decrease drastically.

This year my biggest project that I started is animating and I have completed one animation which is also my first one named "Haunted House". I started animating late at this month and my first one took 2 days to complete.

The next project will be Insha allah entitled as "FIGHT" and will be uploaded insha allh before the end of March. I want this animation to be a proffessional 10 minutes anime fight so As for a begginner it will take this much.
