Kaspersky full features can be used even in trial and there is no need to waste money on buying this antivirus or any other antivirus since viruses do strike the PC no matter how best the antivirus is, however antivirus softwares can protect and clean the PC from viruses to an extent and I found kaspersky as one good antivirus.

Why don't you see what it does. May be Process Monitor (FileMon + RegMon) could catch what it does.

Illegal? Whats illegal about making a software trial last longer? Its not stated in the Computer software Patenet Act 1890 ( I dont remember the date clearly )
