Gmail offers a lot of storage capacity as for an email server and its increasing day by day! And the large storage can be taken advantage of and now it can even be used as a file sharing host with g2peer.
How it Works?
g2Peer gives you a unique ability to share files with your friends from your PC using Gmail accounts. Gmail address is served as unique "IP address" of PC in g2Peer network.
If you would like to share files from your PC with other g2Peer users simply add the user's Gmail addresses to Share Folders list and map addresses to appropriate folders on your PC.
The listed g2Peer users could access your shared folders by simply sending specially prepared e-mail "requests" to your Gmail address and receiving list of shared files available for download.
