I am using Dhiraagu ADSL Home_plus_1mb as you guys would know and basically now I get 2Gb free usage so I have automatic updates turned off to save bandwidth and I update windows manually.I only download necessary and needed patches,updates etc...Oh yeah you wanna know how I update xp manually then follow these steps:

1.go to here and choose any update u want
2.Download the update you wanted
3.Install the update
4.restart Pc
